Therapy

I see the therapeutic process as a shared journey, in which I act as a guide, helping clients see and experience themselves from a different perspective. This helps people gain new insights, often revealing previously hidden personal resources and strengths. Therapy is also a process rather than a quick fix; it requires significant work. Lasting change is possible, but tends to occur gradually, over time.

My favored techniques are person-centered, cognitive, and psychodynamic. This means that I offer a high level of empathy, and work with clients on their thoughts, beliefs, and feelings in the present while also exploring past relationships when relevant. I believe that everyone has within them the capacity for positive change and growth.
