My Practice

I offer individual and group counseling for adults who are struggling with significant life issues. This may include depression, anxiety, stress (including post-traumatic), professional burnout, relationship issues, or simply feeling “lost” and unfulfilled.

I have a strong interest in helping people cope with chronic or terminal medical illness, and I offer individual and group counseling for people struggling with life-changing medical issues. As a counselor with a medical background, I am able to offer those clients a level of empathy and understanding that is unique in the community.

I am very interested in promoting wellness, and can help people learn about how the mind influences the body, and vice-versa. I believe that insight into this relationship can be the first step on the pathway towards a happier, healthier life.

I invite you to explore the blog here as well as my reader’s blog on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer website for information about mental health, the mind-body connection, and more.

I am also very interested in stress and how it affects the body, and have given lectures on the mind-body connection and post-traumatic stress disorder.
